Pick Your Container
Bring your own clean container from home or buy a container at Replenish Grocers. We may even have some free jars (first come, first serve). It can be literally any type of container appropriate for what you want to purchase. Get creative with reusing what you have at home!
Weigh your container
Weigh your empty container at any one of the weigh stations and note the weight of the container on the lid or jar. If your container has a tare weight printed on it, you get to skip this step. Yay!
WRITE THE PLU#
Document the PLU# or product lookup number on the lid or jar. Each bulk item will have this number on the container and this is how the associate will look up the item to check you out. Bulk sections will have stickers or paper twist ties to write this on. I use a grease pencil to write on the slide. Alternatively, you can capture it on your phone and read it to the associate who checks you out.
Fill your Container
Fill your container with your favorite Replenish goodies and let your mouth water.
Purchase Your Goodies
Once you finish your shopping, bring all your filled containers to check out. We will weigh your container again and deduct the container weight (or the tare weight) and only charge you for the product inside. Pretty cool, right?
